A client who takes the audit, the foundation and a year of retainer earns you about $7,250. You are paid on what the client actually pays, not on what they were quoted.
How it works
- You get your own link to the free search check. Share it in your newsletter, your community, your podcast notes or a post.
- An MSP owner runs the check through your link and gets their search report by email. From that moment they show up on your statement as your referral.
- If they book a call and become a client, every invoice they pay adds a commission line to your statement, so you can see the stage, the amount and the date it clears.
- Once the 30-day refund window has passed, the commission clears and goes into your next monthly payout.
The rules
- First touch wins. The first partner whose link brings in a company keeps that company. We never reassign it.
- 180 days. The company's first paid invoice has to land within 180 days of the check they ran through your link. After that first payment, every later invoice counts.
- Already in conversation = not eligible. If we were already talking to that company (we contacted them in the last 90 days), the referral shows as not eligible, with the reason, on the day it arrives.
- Your own company doesn't count. A check for your own domain, or sent from your own company's email, is not a referral.
- 30-day refund window. Commission stays pending for 30 days after the client pays. If the client is refunded, the commission on that invoice is cancelled or reduced to match.
- Paid monthly. Cleared commission is paid once a month. Each payout lists the commission lines it covers, so you can check every one.
- What you earn: 50% of the audit, 10% of the foundation, and 10% of each retainer month, first 12 paid months. Commission is on what the client actually paid, before tax.
